Wow has it really been that long since my last post?  Yes I am alive, I am still a photographer, and I am still behind on posting as usual!  I always take the first few months off of each year to get organized, work on my business plan for the upcoming year, prepare and file my taxes, and my favorite…just relax!  Last fall was my busiest season so far.  Thank you to all my wonderful clients for making that possible!  I still have more sessions from 2010 to blog and I will soon.

We certainly have had our fair share of snow storms this winter here in the east coast.  This last one left us covered in ice and frozen in time…literally.  We were without power for 8 hours, no water and no heat.  My cell phone battery only lasted 2 hours before it died and the kids were able to watch one movie on my laptop before it died as well.  Sadly,  I didn’t realize how dependant I was on modern technology.  The only thing left was… my CAMERA.   I decided to try to find the beauty in this situation.  Below are a few of the images I captured of our frozen landscape.
