I absolutely loved this mini-session. Mom did a fabulous job styling her girls with Crewcuts and Target none the less. Anyone who knows me knows that I just adore Crewcuts clothing. I picked up some balloons and flowers for her session and lucky me they matched perfectly. Last time I photographed this family I was in my first year of business and the youngest, little A, wasn’t even born yet. Boy does time fly. It was so much fun to see them again…they are super sweet little girls and beautiful too!

I shot my first wedding! Thanks to Galina I had the opportunity to second shoot for one of her weddings last Friday. It was a lot of fun…a lot more work than chasing even a family of toddlers around… but really a lot of fun! My job as a second shooter was to focus on the groom and to cover the wedding day from another view/perspective. I have a ton of images from the day to edit and will post more soon. I was really loving black and white on these.

Mothers Day is fast approaching and every year my husband and now my kids ask me what I want..and I always answer “pictures of my children”…hands down! This year my daughter was game. woo hoo. I bought this dress for her almost 2 years ago at a boutique in NYC and it just now fits. One afternoon last week she tried it on and we ran out in our backyard to try some “test” shots for my big Mother’s Day shoot. Wouldn’t you know it, it’s the times that we don’t even get ready let alone comb her hair that I love the most. She was having so much fun modeling and coming up with her own poses. At one point she even said to me let’s go inside and get all your props and take more pictures. Hello? Am I dreaming??? She knows how much her mommy loves pictures. Here are a few….okay there are more than a few…I just couldn’t decide. I love them all. Oh how I adore my little girl.

Meet Oliver. He is our newest family member. He is an 8 week old Australian Labradoodle. He is such a cuddle bug, in fact I had a hard time getting a picture of him as he would sneak around and crawl into my lab just as I was clicking the shutter. I have a feeling that you will be seeing a lot more of Oliver in the future.

I forgot to post this mini-session of this sweet little boy. I just loved this “vintage” looking coat his mom brought that has been in their family. When I gave him the camera to play with he kept saying ” I think it is broke” and trying to give it back to me to fix. I had to ask him to keep trying to push the button just so we could get the shot. Funny. Love these images of him on the tracks!
