It’s a what to wear weekend! One of the questions I get asked most often when preparing for a session is “what should I wear?”. Clothing choices are an important element of your session and should be used to add depth, texture and interest to your images. For a family session it is important that your clothing compliment each other and not match exactly. Stick with a few colors in a chosen color palette, mix it up and layer it on. Accessorize is the name of the game! Ruffles, denium, hats, scarfs, flower pins, headbands, tights are all great accessories to use.
As we approach the family/holiday portrait season I thought I would share a few ideas to illustrate the use of colors and tones to put together a great family look.
