My daughter headed of to school for the first time this month. She started Kindergarten! ~sigh. I had big plans to do an official photo shoot (who me?) to remember this event and time in her life. She didn’t exactly cooperate…figures. So I photographed her on the first day of school on the way to the bus like every mom does. She was so excited, a little nervous and just so grown up that day. I am so proud of her! It feels like she grew up overnight. I put her on the bus and instead of moping around the house I put together a little home movie. I heard this song “Butterfly Fly Away” by Miley Cyrus and instanly knew it was perfect to describe this day. Enjoy.
