I took my little boy for a big boy haircut today. Isn’t he a doll? The fallen hair on his neck was causing a major rash so I took his shirt off when we got home. (I don’t normally let my children run around half naked outside in March.) I asked him to put his hands in his pocket so I could take a picture of his new “do” and would you believe he did? Poor little guy his hands were probably freezing. It was just barely 60 degrees today.
Okay so we may need a few more muscles and that is still his diaper hanging out of his jeans (not his boxers) but maybe someday.

I don’t get the chance to photograph newborns very often but did last week. They are just so pure and sweet. She was so good to me. She slept almost the entire session. Very different from photographing children especially toddlers. Newborns can’t run away and they can’t tell me no! Just Kidding. I love capturing them both. It’s funny when you have a child you tell yourself that this is the absolute best age whatever age they may be but..it keeps changing as they grow. When in fact each age is different and wonderful all the same. I know I know just show the picture already. Just one for now I will post more later.

Baby D wasn’t feeling too well during our first session so we opted for a reshoot this week. Lucky for me I just got this hat and couldn’t wait to try it out. I think she was as giddy about it as I was, well almost. This session was full of a few of my favorite things…little girls in pink, pig-tails and hats.
Oh and chubby little baby legs but of course..

A little behind on this post because it is pooring down rain and really chilly outside but last week we had one gorgeous 65 degree and sunny day. It so felt like spring. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to shoot outside once again so we headed out for a quick urban session. I grabbed these flowers on the way out the door I thought they were a nice spring touch and they were a gift I received from a friend for my birthday (thanks Melis).
